Tractor Donation for Farmers from Maung Daw, Rakhine

There has a tractor camp at Maung Daw Township in Northern Rakhine State, but not enough. Because they have only a few tractor and many farmers. There have no plowing cattle for farmers. And tractor is not enough for them. So, even in raining season, they can’t do planting.

In order to fulfill the requirement, writer was donated 3000000 kyats (amount for one tractor) as capitalized money and Ven Su Sate Tar Bhivamsa “Paramount Patron Abbot of Dhamma Sa Yi Ra University” was donated 3000000 kyats. Rakhine Sangha Ni Kar Ya from Yangon also donated 6000000 kyats for 2 tractor. Wira Tin Soe and Seiko Su from USA were donated 3000000 kyats for one tractor.

A Lo Taw Pyae Abbot and Shwe San New Abbot are also plan to donate. For those tractors, local abbot and city elders will organize committee for maintenance. Tractor instructors will take responsibility for land harrowing. The farmers from Maung Daw needed small tractors for planting.
